IPSF: Investing in Students and Music

Michael Carroll is an executive based in Irvine, California, where he founded CorpGen Counsel, which provides value-added legal services to businesses at all stages of development. In his free time, Michael Carroll is a legacy partner with the Irvine Public Schools Foundation and a member of the Orange County Bar association and Greater Irvine Chamber of Commerce.

The Irvine Public Schools Foundation serves to enrich the educational experience of each child by developing programs, raising funds, and drawing in community support. The foundation believes that students benefit from and deserve access to music, art, and science programs, both in and out of the classroom.

The foundation is dedicated to music and fully funds the primary music program for students in transitional kindergarten through third grade, equipping students with a solid foundation in musical concepts. To assist children who want to continue their musical education, the foundation also manages an instrument rental program where it rents over 2,000 musical instruments at affordable prices to children in the school district. The proceeds from this rental program go back into the music programs at the school and has raised more than $1 million over the years.
